LG Shaw is a Virginia Beach native and president of Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV). He lives in the Birdneck Lake neighborhood with his wife, Stacy Jo, and their two children. He serves on the Surf & Rescue Museum Board and was a founding member and past Vibe Creative District business association president. The Shaw family is active in their neighborhood and greater District 5 community. LG knows the residents of District 5 deserve a city council representative who listens to their concerns first. That’s a better way, and that is why LG is running to represent the residents of our new Virginia Beach City Council District 5. Saturday, October 26, 2024: Voter registration offices open for early voting.
Saturday, November 2, 2024: The last day of in-person early voting at your local voter registration office by 5:00pm.

October 25, 2024: Deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you. Your local voter registration office must receive your request by 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 5, 2024: Election Day. The polls open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. You can vote as long as you are in line by 7:00 p.m.
